Director of Sales

Location: On-site | Brooklyn, OH Headquarters

If so, as Director of Sales for MMI Textiles, you’ll partner closely with the CEO/Founder and the Senior Leadership Team to shape strategy and lead growth initiatives that expand our market and customer presence. This is an on-site position based at our Brooklyn, Ohio headquarters, where collaboration and teamwork drive our success.

THE ROLE

The Director of Sales needs to be a results-driven individual who craves the freedom to develop strategic goals and initiatives, constantly pushes the envelope to innovate and find better ways of doing things, all while displaying servant leadership to their team. This leader will oversee a talented team of sales professionals and collaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and customer service to ensure alignment between sales strategy and execution.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategically identify and build relationships with high-potential target accounts.
  • Develop and drive the implementation of strategic plans to drive business growth.
  • Train, coach, and develop the sales team to maximize potential and foster professional growth.
  • Establish and manage clear performance metrics (sales targets, conversion ratios, and new account growth).
  • Partner with Marketing to align brand messaging, lead generation, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Represent MMI Textiles at key trade shows, customer visits, and industry events.
  • Forecast sales revenue and contribute to annual budgeting and strategic planning.
  • Build deep, trusted relationships with customers by upholding integrity and delivering follow-through.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
  • Strong background in manufacturing; understanding of production processes, supply chain management, and the unique challenges of a manufacturing-focused business.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or related functions, with a proven track record of leading and developing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to set strategy, measure performance, and build cohesive, high-performing teams.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site at MMI’s Brooklyn, Ohio headquarters.
