MMI Attends Zone 7 Canvas Products Association Conference

On December 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th, MMI Textiles attended the Zone 7 Canvas Products Association Conference in Independence, Ohio. The show was mainly attended by vinyl manufacturers, vinyl suppliers, and awning manufacturers. It was a great show and gave us an opportunity to meet some new faces within the industry.

Manufacturing Advocacy & Growth Network (MAGNET) had a great presentation on how to improve not only work efficiency, but also improve the work environment and the people within it. The conference also included a tour of Ohio Awning. Andy Morse and Ohio Awning have a great facility and there is definitely exciting things happening there.

Friday’s “Market Day” was filled with tradeshow activities and we were able to tell and show many attendees our vinyl coated polyesters and meshes with all attendees. Our products not only serve the awning and tent industries, but also for tarps, cargo, dock seal, inflatable boats, agricultural uses, roll up doors, and many other outdoor and indoor applications.
