Nylon Fabric
70D (1.9 OZ.) RIPSTOP
Ripstop Nylons are woven with a strong thread that goes up and across the fabric forming squares that prevent tears from continuing once they start. This fabric is breathable and lightweight - yet provides excellent strength/durability. It’s also finished with DWR (Durable Water Repellent) which helps water bead up and roll off the fabric. Our domestic option also features a fire-resistant coating.
70D Ripstop is great for outdoor use and even medical equipment.
Some common uses for this fabric include: accessories, ponchos, lightweight backpacks, hats, banners, sleeping bags, tents, backpack lining, covers, and umbrellas.

Nylon Taffeta is strong yet lightweight and very abrasion resistant. Our 70D Nylon Taffeta is also resistant to water and wind due to its durable water-repellent coating (DWR). The PVC backing on this fabric adds to its strength and durability.
70D Nylon Taffeta is typically used as a lining.

420D NYLON
Our 420D Nylon is coated with Urethane and finished with DWR (Durable Water Repellent) making it extremely durable, tear, and water resistant. 420D Nylon also has excellent abrasion resistance.

1000D NYLON
1000D Nylon is created using high tenacity nylon yarn. 1000D Nylon is extremely tough with excellent resistance to fading, abrasion, rot, and mildew. This fabric is water resistant and dries quickly due to its DWR coating.
1000D Nylon is used in a variety of heavy-duty applications such as outdoor gear, pet accessories, and military/tactical gear.

1680D BALLISTIC NYLON
1680D Ballistic Nylon is a tough, durable, basketweave fabric. Originally created to be anti-fragment resistant for the military to prevent injuries from ballistic impact like flying debris or shrapnel. 1680D is going to be even tougher against abrasion and tears than 1000D. Ballistic Nylon will hold up extremely well in any weather, temperature, and/or water it encounters.
1680D is commonly used for military use, outdoor use, and creating heavy duty gear.
