The 2 Different Kinds of Labels and Why You Need to Know the Difference

Labels are like snowflakes and sadly, in Cleveland we know too much about snowflakes. But back to the point, we don’t think that any two labels are the alike. They come in so many colors, different materials, shapes, and sizes that it can be hard to pick out the kind you want and need. Let’s break down the options to help make this process simpler.

Printed

We can get you printed labels that are both domestic and imported. We have stock on standard size, Made in the USA, and care labels for immediate delivery. 

Custom labels can be produced in 3 to 4 weeks and we can even create a stock program for your custom labels which helps with any problems that you may have with getting them as soon as possible!

We can also print on ribbons, elastics, webbing, and on virtually any material – natural or man made such as cotton, poly-cotton, vinyl, webbing, canvas, and more!

And because we love to stay attuned to what our customers want we are now offering labels printed on organic cotton!

Woven

MMI imports its woven labels from South America and our factory has one of the most prestigious plants and operates on state-of-the-art equipment to weave labels from the best fabrics. We do have minimums and the lead time for these is usually 2 to 3 weeks. Some of our special effects include:

• Embossing
• Laser cutting
• 3D
• Reflective
• Pressure Sensitive (sticky backed)

Note that there are minimums and details that go along with this but if you are interested, we would love to fill you in on the details and figure out how to make it work for you.

The process usually includes sending an art file with graphics and dimensions and we will figure out what the label will be put on and any other special requirements so that we can get you exactly what you need!
