MMI Textiles/Bear Saga LLC are the proud new owners of Ursack. Ursack was launched in 2000, and is a Made in the USA bear resistant food sack made from lightweight, flexible, ‘bullet proof’ fabric. As the 7.6-ounce alternative to traditional canisters, it’s ideal for backpackers, kayakers, and others. Even with the optional aluminum liner, it weighs less than half of similarly sized hard-sided canisters.

MMI will be providing all the raw materials and we’ve had a relationship with the cut and sew manufacturer of these products, JHRG LLC, for many years. So, you know the quality of the finished product will be unmatched.
