Amy Bircher Awarded IFAI’s 2019 Outstanding Volunteer Award

At this year's IFAI Expo, IFAI presented Outstanding Volunteer Awards - recognizing IFAI members who generously gave their time to serve on different boards, task forces and committees, judged competitions, and provided education and leadership to others in the industry.

Our President/Founder Amy Bircher was nominated for, and presented this award during IFAI’s annual award ceremony!

*“Amy is being nominated for the volunteer award as she tends to always be ahead of the curve! Whether it is initiating the Military Division of IFAI and then supporting her staff member as the chairman for several years, getting boots to the ground to get as much support for the Industrial Fabrics Foundation (IFF) as possible or championing the first IFAI Women in Textiles Summit as the MC for the entire event. She seems to know where there are needs in the industry and she does her best to fill those needs however she can.”*

The Outstanding Volunteer Awards were created in 2012, designed to recognize volunteers who have regularly gone above and beyond to help, guide and advise. Since 2012, 33 people have received this award.
