While we might be shocked that 2015 is already over, we are excited about what lies ahead in 2016. As usual, new and better things are always happening at MMI Textiles. In anticipation for the new year, we thought we would lay out four things you should look for in 2016 if you’re in the textile industry.
1. Wolf Gray
Wolf gray is a really versatile fabric in our industry. We offer this color is a multitude of different widths and fabrics. With its popularity in the military industry, we are pros at all the things concerning this color. If you need anything in wolf gray or just want to get some questions answered, give us a call.
In the world of camouflage, we know that you have a lot of options. We don’t have a favorite, but our PenCott™ fabrics are really popular. The four different shades of camo make it easy for you to pick which one will fit your need. Our inventory of PenCott™ is ever changing and if you want to figure out what we have in stock or what we can get you, call us or shoot us an email.

It wouldn’t be the textile industry without talking about hardware. We have everything you could need to produce or make an end product. Whether it is metal or plastic, chances are that MMI has you covered. We carry ITW Nexus and we love it. We think you will too.
It can be hard to remember how important labels are, but they are always on our mind. With so many options when it comes to your labels, we wrote a totally separate post breaking them down for you. Woven or printed, imported or domestic, we can help you figure out the best, cheapest, and fastest way to get you the labels you need.

Keeping on with our tradition, MMI decided to skip the gifts this year and instead organize and participate in our annual Toy Drive. We get pretty serious about our toy drive and this year we had an incredible turnout. On Monday, we loaded up two of our pick-up trucks and headed straight to the Salvation Army to drop off our toys. While it’s been abnormally warm in Cleveland, Christmas is right around the corner and we were determined to try our best to have an impact in other places outside the MMI office.
Salvation Army does so much good in our local community and MMI hopes to play a small part.
On behalf of the entire MMI family, we are wishing you a happy, safe, and restful holiday season.

On December 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, MMI Textiles attended the Zone 7 Canvas Products Association Conference in Independence, Ohio. The show was mainly attended by vinyl manufacturers, vinyl suppliers, and awning manufacturers. It was a great show and gave us an opportunity to meet some new faces within the industry.
Manufacturing Advocacy & Growth Network (MAGNET) had a great presentation on how to improve not only work efficiency, but also improve the work environment and the people within it. The conference also included a tour of Ohio Awning. Andy Morse and Ohio Awning have a great facility and there is definitely exciting things happening there.
Friday’s “Market Day” was filled with tradeshow activities and we were able to tell and show many attendees our vinyl coated polyesters and meshes with all attendees. Our products not only serve the awning and tent industries, but also for tarps, cargo, dock seal, inflatable boats, agricultural uses, roll up doors, and many other outdoor and indoor applications.
We offer many varieties of woven fabrics, hook and loop, rope and cord, labels, webbing, and labels. For more information on any of our products or to find out how we can help you and your textile needs visit our website, www.mmitextiles.com or give us a call at 440.899.8050.
